Whats the camping rules out at Indian creek......the question I have is can a person set up tent out in the timber near the trail and camp or is there only camping in designated areas?

I've seen people set up a tent down by the bathroom, in the grass just past the gravel parking area. Seems a bit uneven for me.

If you go on line I bet you can find the rules for camping in the area. I once came on some amish kids camping out by one of the ponds. I don't think they were suppose to be there.

There is one good campsite that has a area cleared that would be good for a tent.

I've camped in a tent one spot up from the bathrooms, on the same side of the road. It was actually a pretty good spot. Level (at least where I had the tent), nice firepit and picnic table. Just make sure the raccoons know that you don't need the 3am wake up call, cause they don't have a snooze button.
