Pinch yourself, the weather is suppose to be in the 70's this weekend and Indian Creek is calling for some knobbie friends to come out and play. The overlooks are at their best and the creeks are running. What a beautiful trail. Probably the best trail that "nobody knows about!"

Mitch and I have been busy little trail elves, taking advantage of dry temps and strong tail winds to get the trails blown from #17 down to the dam.

I plan on getting out to the CG loop today and blowing the leaves off and checking for maintenance needs.

We've done our deed. Now is a good time to ride or hike through a section and do some trimming of any of the smaller growth that is growing in the corridor. I did some trimming, but was on the fly with the blower.

Get out and enjoy!

I plan to make it out that way tomorrow (Friday) and get one last ride in before the lead starts flying. If all goes as planned I should be on the road by 11:30-12:00. If I've got any legs left, I might make a buffet of it and get in a few miles at Crowder as well. Happy Trails.

I could tell by the tire tracks that I wasn't the only one to hit the trails this weekend. I was able to ride Friday morning and again this afternoon and the trails were blazing fast!!! How awesome is it to ride some of the sweetest single track around in November with shorts and a short sleeve jersey? I could not have had more fun on a bike this weekend, a few times I stopped just to take in the views....it was great!!!

This is one of my favorite times of the year to ride, or hike at IC. You get a whole different panorama of views.

There are way more good views to be found in the future. Just come out and take a long hike with me sometime this winter!
