I know that someone said there was a tree down at I.C. but I'm pretty sure they said that 2 people could probably move it. Well, Mark and I went riding tonight and we must have been wearing our matching skorts and sports bras because we just couldn't do it.

We did see one tree stand up along the trail while we were out. I won't say where it is but if you are out riding and can't see it then you have some serious issues. I don't think this person has hung too many stands.

The tree is now moved! Thanks to the trail stewards that moved it! The trails have been getting lots of use lately. If everyone pitches in and throws off a little debris each trip, we all end up with great rides!

We had to coordinate an amphibious assault, but dang it, we got it.

Actually, TR & I canoed over from the boat ramp to where the tree was. Good time! You can see lots of good places for trail around the north east section of the lake by boat too!

Awe yes, the east side of IC. I have to take at least one hike a year all the way around the lake to remind me about all the trail potential on the east side.

We have to complete goal #1: Campground to Campground, before we can get started on the east side of the lake. My heartrate jumps every time I think about a loop all the way around this lake.

BTW-has anyone noticed the creek crossings at the CG loop have been tweaked a bit. The turning radius is still being modified. I plan on getting in and doing some bench cutting on some sections to take the camber out, especially on turns where the tread is sloping out.

All the bench cut sections that TR worked on are excellent. Where did "29T" learn how to bench like that? I walked through from 510 to the top at #17 last week and it is a great hike. We've done some pretty good work for the most part. We do need to get some work done on the original section between the dam and 510. Some deberming and a few erosion issues.

If you haven't been out there to ride lately, what are you waiting for?
