after my miserable ride (due to my lack of conditioning) coach suggested i buy a road bike. i have carefully weighed my options and I need to ride therefore I plan in the near future to buy a road bike (which i shall call a fitness bike) i plan on spending about 1200 on said bike and need to pick your beans. anything is helpful, aaeusk@hotmail.com is my email or call (816)820-1429. please give me a hand. thanx aaron

Hey Aaron....just keep at it and the conditioning will come. Im getting better each ride. As far as bikes go when looking at road bikes if you plan on riding it alot I wouldnt get any thing less than shimano 105 components. I bought a good starter bike for half price on Ebay and have put several miles on it. I doubt Id feel comfortable buying a mountain bike on ebay but a road bike should be fine if you do your research. The bike I bought came exactly as it was described.

Aaron:

you can buy a pretty good bike for that kind of change. I'll kep my eyes and ears open for some deals. If you plan on traveling to a bike shop, let me know and I'll see if I can help.

Don't be in a hurry and lets make sure you get a good fit.

How tall are you? Inseam?

Coach
