I didn't realize until today that Wal Mart has some road tubes with presta valves, the smallest ones are 700 x 25-32 but I put one in my 700 x 23 tire. They also have some cross sized tubes as well, the valve stems are not super long (but the are threaded) so if you have deep rims they may not work.

I went on a ride last night and had a slow leaker in the front and a super dyna whoppin blowout on the rear....stupid pot holes. I have some tubes on order but thought it wouldn't hurt to have another just in case and figure I could settle for a schrader valve but I didn't have to.

Presta valves at Wal-mart: what a score.
Living hours away from the nearest bike store is certainly a unique experience.
Happy Trails.
