Snow Ride Empty

Went out and did an up and back at Indian Creek today, not a lot of snow but enough to make it slick in places. It was really dicey on the big drop ins!!! Climbing up to the parking lot at 510 I spun out and lunged forward to try and create some forward momentum and my front wheel spun hard to the side and slammed my handlebar right into my thigh.....DAMN that hurt...actually it still really hurts. There was a fair amount of small debris down on the trail, I threw the big stuff off. When I got to parking lot #17 there was a guy out on the pond ice fishing, that was pretty cool to see.

I got out there today and and got a C-17-C (Campground to 17 and back to Campground). I was really surprised there wasn't more debris down. Either Mitch was really busy on his ride throw stuff off or we just didn't get the wind damage I was expecting.

My ride was awesome. Some sections are totally clear of snow, some lightly sprinkled, and a few areas have a little drift build up that you have to power through.

The trails are 100% rideable, including "Dog Hill" if you stay on the very outside of the tread!

Get out and enjoy. The trails are about to get closed again for a couple of weeks.

I hope to be building some new trail at the first of January!
