Yyyyouch! Best wishes for Happy Healing. I hope you didn't suffer that shiner care of my invitation to ride Thousand Hills Trail. (We've got a pretty good carpeting of leaves out there.)

The price of war. Man vs. the hazards of the Berryman Trail. Mitch actually had a great race, Boo Boo and all!

How did the run at Kirksville go?

The trail run here was a real success. The field was nearly seventy runners and nobody DNF'ed. One especially good and inspiring show of grit came from the last runner in. Despite a rowdy spill early in the race, she still made her way across the finish line.

I hope your work days this weekend go well -- two short weeks until the lead starts flying again. I have to get my car into the shop beforehand (been doing a poor imitation of Fred Flinstone these last several weeks), but I plan to make it up that way to help on the new section that last week before the trails close.

Youth firearms this weekend 5th and 6th. I may work next week if the weather cooperates. I will have the trailer out for the Nov. 12-Dec. 4 stretch and Dec. 17-27 and Jan. 2-8 stretches of the rifle season. The trails will be closed by the MDC for those periods.

Let me know when your coming and I'll meet you out there.
