I know it is not exactly close by but thought I would post it anyway!
Smithville trails at 6:30 Tonight. No lights allowed, mother nature will provide all the light you need reflecting the full moon off the snow!

Come on down from the great white north (to the still great white north) and ride your bikes. Sitting on a trainer SUCKS Mad

Pretty much SUCKED! The texture of the snow was really strange, it was almost like a real fine sleet feel. It was very slick in places that it was not packed. Where it was packed it would toss you around. We also started a bit early as the moon was not quite high enough to give real good light but we still rode with no lights.

Fox Boy made the journey down and was battling a slow leak which gave me a good excuse to not not ride too long. When I got back to the car and realized that my front fork was blown and oil was leaking from both sides. So now it is back the full rigid 29er SS for the Headwater challenge, this will be FUN Shocked

single punture in front tire, double puncture in rear (tire!! you sicko Very Happy ) The ride was pretty great though, the longer I rode the further up the sky that big 'ol moon rose and the brighter the snow, but man colder than a well diggers knees!

I know doug is going to give me the UST talk now Razz
