Great ride last night. At least in a painful kinda way. What do you do to an old man that just raced 80 miles on a mountain bike and got home at 2:00 am in the morning? Let's keep the pace 20+ miles an hour and see if the old man can keep up.
I gotta love it. I do love it!!! Somebody beat me with a stick!
All I gotta say is thank you James. Mark, and Mitch for pulling my bony butt all over the route last night cause I was "sucking wheel" big time.
I promise to have fresh legs and to "RETURN THE FAVOR" next Monday. We're riding to Chula and back, right?
It was great to have Brennan Fox (fox boy) with us on the ride. Brennan was strong and will fit well in this group.
Some of the pack have gotten a little stronger since last year. Could be some of those pounds that were shed in the winter. It's just the start of some great riding to come. We'll get some gravel grinders and trail riding thrown in with the road.
Just remember, if you skip too many Mondays you can't earn your letter. No letter, why even think about the coveted letter sweater? No place to hang your medals. Your "All Area Green Hills Region" Cycling patches. You won't fit with the "Cycle-IN" crowd. You'll just be another dweeb "Poosey Poser!" You'll probably have to move away or start riding a single speed or 29er, or both. You'll end up being a "lone rider" and we will invoke the "No wheel sucking rule" and ignore you on future rides.

See ya next Monday 6:00 sharp if momma nature cooperates.
