Who wants to ride?

Some of us are planning a trail ride for tomorrow (Fri 1-2-09) around 1:00, I know it is a little short notice but if anyone is interested just leave a post or better yet email me at mmbernskoetter@yahoo.com or give me a call 646-4087 or I will be at work tomorrow til about noon 646-3638.

We're meeting at Crowder at 1pm. I haven't been on a real bike for awhile, so if anyone wants to watch me push my bike around, come on up!

I didn't see the post until it was too late. How were the trail conditions?

Trails were pretty soupy, I wish there were some sandwiches to go with the soup!!! We only made it in about 20 yds and backed out. We did ride River Forks trail as it was not completely blown. We ended up riding gravel roads, not sure how far we went but it was a great workout. I was on my single speed so I couldn't carry any speed on the flats so I used the climbs as interval training and really tried to hammer on those.

Hhhhm, were did I put that sandwich?
