I think I Have lost it!!!!

Just got off the phone with the great staff at the Trek Store of KC!!!! After 2 months of store visits, emails, phone calls, test rides, I officially just threw down the green and ordered a 2009 Trek Top Fuel 9.8!!!! Must be a popular bike....there was only 2 left in the U.S. of my size. Picking it up Wed night....thats a sure way to get it to rain!!!!
I may need to borrow some lights cuz I may not get off it Thurs night!!!!

Did I just hear that chomping sound? The sound of someone taking that big bite? There is nothing like the ride of an expensive bike! Well, maybe the ride of an expensive car.

Now you need to get ready for the comments that come with owning a "top end" bike. "You paid how much? I coulda bought a good used pick up truck, a new shotgun, a coon dog, a fishing rod, and a years supply of biscuits and gravy for that much money! You know they make bikes with motors don't ya?"

Just remember, the bike is just part of the equation. It's still more about the horse power! New bikes sure make the training rides more motivating!
