Check this out. http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/15026502.

This is a group ride I have been planning for a Saturday’s soon after chuckies challenge while fitness levels are conducive to doing this ride. Would like to roll out of Chillicothe at 9:00 am. Will be mostly gravel with some dirt and a little pavement. This will not be a race pace ride. The ride will need to be done while it is frozen and/or dry because of a section (If the conditions dont allow we will detour) thru the bottoms south of Wheeling, Mo. My idea is to have sag stops about every 20 miles (sag stop #1 @ approx 20 mile marker north of Meadville, sag stop #2 @ Brookfield, sag stop #3 @ my house then ending in Chillicothe). At these 3 stops you could have dry clothes, repairs or whatever because Lori has agreed to be at the sag stops with coffee or hot chocolate and whatever you might want and or need in your sag kit. After the ride eat at one of the Mexican Restaurant’s in Chillicothe. This is not an extremely hilly ride and the flattest part of the ride will be towards the end of the ride and a cross bike would be the weapon of choice.

So there ya go. Let me know if you are interested and we can start putting a date to the thing.

More to come.
