Thanks to all the trail stewards that put in some serious volunteer hours blowing leaves and clearing debris from all the strong winds that have blown through north Missouri recently.

We were fortunate to have ma nature hold off on the precip till we got the leaves blown. With a little calculation, working with the strong wind at our backs really helped push them off the trail tread.

With rifle season opening next weekend at Poosey, I plan on getting a few rides in this week. Looks like precip rolling in the for weekend. Get out and enjoy before the trails are closed for deer season. I hope to get permission to get started on the next phase at IC in January. More on that later.

Thanks to Doug and all the trail stewards at GHTA for great trails. Thanks to Doug for being host at Indian Creek yesterday -- great weather, great trails, great (and patient) company.

distalamputee:

drop me an email and we can hook up in Chiillicothe and carpool to KC and ride landahl, swope, burp, etc...

I headed down there yesterday for a day of riding and will be going back down. You need to check some of that primo stuff out.

You can definitely count me in. I've wanted to check out Landahl ever since I saw a picture/advertisement for their 24hr race. Pictured was a trail section with what looked like a really sweet rock chute.

Mitch and I did an "up and back" from CG to #17. The trails are in great shape. Some leaves covered on some sections, but not bad. No trees down and the trail is rock hard like riding on concrete.

I'm excited to get out and build some new trail. I did hike from the CG north on the east side of the lake. I spent about 5 hours hiking and looking at property lines and contours. The grin on my face was so wide I had problems walking in between trees!

Get out and enjoy the trails. Be aware that there is till 2 more times the trails will be closed. Last hunt ends Jan. 2nd. See the trail closure info on the GH Home page.
