Just a reminder about the workday at Indian Creek (Poosey Conservation Area).
Saturday, July 10 8:00 AM
Meet at the shelter house on the west side of the lake. Gravel road 510 off of Hwy U. Look for the conservation sign on Hwy. U.
We will work until noonish and then have lunch at the shelter house. I've ordered a 6 foot sub that I'm sure we can do some damage on. Just bring your own drinks for the day. I still suggest water when you're working hard in the month of July! (Once again, anyone so moved to bring a dessert should follow their inner voice)
After lunch, those that want to keep working may. All of the trail has been mowed and most of the corridor has been trimmed waaaaay back. This will let us concentrate on other projects to really make this trail shine!
I'm going to get out tomorrow and walk a couple sections. I'll be looking for key spots to flag for de-berming and possibly creek crossing locations for armoring.
Bring stout shoes and a stout attitude. (I guess bug spray wouldn't hurt either)
